The Old Farmer’s Almanac Predicts A Stormy And Mild June
A new month is almost upon us which means it is time to take a look at what the weather holds.
June is usually a turning point. It is the month we can finally be sure we won't see snow or a wintry mix. Summer also officially begins. It doesn't get better than that!
At the start of every month, the Old Farmer's Almanac releases a few predictions on what we can expect for the time ahead. The forecast is always simple and straight-forward. Here's what they had to say about the month of June:
From June 1 to 8th, we can expect scattered thunderstorms and warm temperatures.
From the 9th to the 18th, things will cool off a bit but a few thunderstorms will stick around.
From the 19th to the 23rd, we will see a few storms followed by sunshine and cool temperatures.
June 24th to the 30th will bring yet more storms, with sunshine following along with hot temperatures.
The Almanac predicts we will be right one track with our average temperature and precipitation.
Whether you believe in the predictions or take them with a grain of salt, there is no denying that the Almanac was on point for the last week of May - so far!
The Old Farmer's Almanac forecasts by region, with ours including most of Minnesota and Wisconsin, parts of North and South Dakota and Michigan.
