There was extensive damage done to a Central Minnesota Golf Course earlier this month. The vandalism was reported on Sunday October 18 from Blueberry Pines Golf Course in Menahga Minnesota. Video surveillance showed that there was a group of nine juveniles that had been involved in the crime. They were seen taking six golf carts for joy rides around the golf course damaging greens and bunkers along the course.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, the Wadena County Sheriff's Office reviewed the video. They posted an update on October 27 that they had identified and interviewed the nine individuals responsible for the vandalism.  The suspects were from the area of Menahga, Buffalo, and Greenfield, Minnesota.

They estimate the damage to be roughly $40,000, but they will not know the full extent of damages until the spring. The case now is being forwarded to the Wadena County Attorney's Office for formal charges.

Blueberry Pine Golf Course is located near Park Rapids, MN and Menahga MN and according to their website they feature an 18 hole championship golf course. They are closed for the season, but they still operate their restaurant in the club house during limited hours in the off season.
