
Minnesota Police Investigate Death Of 2 People During New Year’s Swingers Party
Two people were found dead in a Minnesota hotel room on New Year's Day. The individuals were attending an adult swingers' party called the "Big O" Frozen Fantasy Event.
It happened in Shakopee, Minnesota at the Baymont by Wyndham Hotel on Canterbury Road.
Family members were concerned when they couldn't contact a 47-year-old male, whose truck was in the parking lot. Police arrived at entered the room at 8:15 pm on January 1. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of two individuals named in the KARE11 story. A 47-year-old male and 54-year-old female were found dead, suspected of overdose.

The entire hotel was rented out for the "Big O" Fantasy Event by Midwest Euphoria. According to their website, Midwest Euphoria is an adult social networking membership site that frequently holds events. They offer "sexy matchmaking" and private events. Members pay to communicate with others on the platform.

Police say they had a positive test for fentanyl, and signs point to an overdose for both of the deceased individuals.
The owner of the hotel says they haven't had issues with the group win the past and are devasted to know there were narcotics and an overdose involved.
The rules for the Euphoria Midwest are extensive, and include no use of drugs or narcotics allowed at their events. They have a zero-tolerance policy for drugs or prostitution and have rules designed to keep guests safe and comfortable.
