The United Way kicks off their 'Holiday Edition of Day Of Caring' tomorrow in the Northland.  This single day event is a "concentrated push" promoting volunteerism in The Northland and will feature volunteers working on 14 different projects.

Grandma's Marathon is a terrific Northland tradition.  Thousands of runners will be trying to beat the heat this year and a key to their success are the volunteers.  While many people have already signed up, there is still a need for more.
