I want to see this movie!  What an inspiration and interesting life this man has lead.  I saw the official movie trailer during the broadcast of the Olympics and was intrigued that it is directed by Angelina Jolie.  It's part of history and a must-see!  What the trailer and you'll be waiting for it's release like I am.

John Shuster and his team thrilled us with the American Curling matches to qualify for the next round to make it to the Olympics. Then he beat world teams to become an Olympic entry. Now he needs your help. It costs a lot of money to get to the Olympics, both for the team and for the families.

  We hailed him as a hero.  Any Olympian is an inspiration based on their dedication to their sport, but to have to train to be the best of the best while also being a double amputee and overcoming that obstacle had people across the world in awe.  Once again, for a reason on the entirely other end of the spectrum, Oscar Pistorius has the world in awe, this time...for the murder of his girlfriend.

A Northland curling team took their talents to the Big Apple Tuesday morning with an appearance on N–B–C's TODAY SHOW! Team Fenson appeared on the show as part of the Today Show's Olympic Week and the start of the one year countdown to the 2014 Winter Olympics...

Another Wednesday, and another fun filled Wednesday Night At The Races with Grandma's Marathon and the Young Athletes Foundation.   Tonight the event will take place at Griggs Field on the UMD Campus. Since Griggs Field is a track, it's also one of the races that will have a wheelchair race division...

In broadcasting timing is everything.  That's the #1 rule, stay on time.  Otherwise everything gets screwed up.  NBC's Olympics have in some cases pushed the news back a bit, and this Jacksonville sportscaster loses it.

The opening ceremony was in London tonight for the 2012 Olympics and it was full of music and fire.  If you're not in the Olympic spirit yet, perhaps this video will get you jazzed.
