My friend Sandy in FL told me about these Quiet Moments calming treats and swore they worked.  I had looked at the local department stores we frequent and couldn't find it.  I figured I'd have to go to a local pet specialty store, but before we did we were camping and ran across a pet store that had them.  My experience is a review that will lend as a warning.

Our Animal Allies Pet of the Week is a Miniature Pinscher or Min-Pin.  He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Earl Yippington) at 11 years old.  He came to Animal Allies as a stray and now wants you as a roommate. Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Earl Yippington is neutered.  He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.

Bretagne is the last known surviving search-and-rescue dog to work Ground Zero.

You know that reaction dogs have when you return home? You know, the one where the tail is moving a million miles a minute because they're so happy you've pulled this amazing stunt where you've somehow made it back? That's a reaction this dog owner in Britain didn't know if she'd ever see again.

Ok, so many of you enjoyed the antics of my Schnauzer watching the Westminster competition I thought I'd share what happened this past weekend when I was putting clothes away in my closet.

My Schnauzer is usually a wild animal, always wanting to play, be in your lap or do whatever YOU'RE doing.  But I found the perfect way to keep him calm and intent and all it took was giving up the TV for the night!

Don't panic ladies, his new love has four legs, a tail and can run like the wind!  I'm a puppy lover so when I saw that Hunter had posted video of his new "bus dog" I had to share it with you!  He's lanky, lazy (in the video) and a love bug!

As I was reading about the ability to take great butt shots with a Belfie stick (who does that? Not Me!). I started to ponder, what do we all have that is near and dear to us and would want to share? OUR DOGS! Introducing the Delfie!

I am a self proclaimed dog lover but I have to admit, my favorite of the two videos is the cat on the vacuum.  Made me laugh harder.  You'll LOVE these two videos.  Feel free to share the love!

Here's a pooch that needs some serious work on his catching skills. Her owner is trying to teach her how to catch. It looked like they had a way to go before we finally see all the hard work and practice pay off. Now, on to Frisbees.
