Our Animal Allies Pet of the Week is a Miniature Pinscher or Min-Pin.  He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Earl Yippington) at 11 years old.  He came to Animal Allies as a stray and now wants you as a roommate. Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Earl Yippington is neutered.  He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.

Earl does will with other dogs and while he's excitable when he first meets you, he settles down soon after and becomes a snuggle bug.

Every Wednesday at 8:10 Ken and I talk with Daryl Yankee from Animal Allies about the Pet of the Week.  If you are interested in adoption of Earl Yippington or another animal at the shelter, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-2110 for more information.

Animal Allies will be conducting another Summer Camp coming up June 20-24.  It's entitled  Kitties and Cattails and Their Little Dogs, Too and is for ages 7-8.  Your child will explore the secret life of cats.  Learn their behaviors and how to understand body language of tails, whiskers, and ears.  Teach them tricks, games, and other fun activities.  Occasionally we’ll have fun with dogs, too!  (If you’re older than 8 and want to come because it sounds so fun, we’ll make room for you after the 7-8 year olds sign up.)
