I wish these types of career exploration summer camps were offered when I was young. Not that I don't enjoy what I'm doing now, but it certainly would have opened my eyes to other careers available. Plus, it would have made my summers way more interesting and I may have made life long friendships!
Our Animal Allies Pet of the Week is a Miniature Pinscher or Min-Pin. He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Earl Yippington) at 11 years old. He came to Animal Allies as a stray and now wants you as a roommate. Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Earl Yippington is neutered. He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.
The end of the school year is near and if you're like me when my daughter was young, you're too busy to research and find exciting constructive things for your kids to do to fill their time this summer. Since my daughter Kylee is graduating from UMD in May, I have time to do the research and help you out.

Here' the answer to getting your kids to put the game controller or TV remote down. While you're at work, they can be interacting with other kids at The Lake Superior Zoo. They have some fun, WILD, day camps planned for your kids this summer. Expect to get an earful when you get home from work!
