2019 Blizzard

Hint: it is a lot.

Spirit Mountain is in dire straits financially after they had to cancel the big Snocross event due to the blizzard.

The famous bridge was stuck in a down position due to the weight of the ice from our first major winter storm of the season.

“As a City, we have let you down in our response to this storm. As Mayor, I take full responsibility.”, Mayor Emily Larson. Now, the city wants your help identifying areas still in need of snow removal.

Bentleyville is back!

Superior Mayor Jim Paine has been using Facebook to update the residents of Superior about the snow removal efforts and progress. On Monday a Facebook post from the Mayor in the midday said we were nearing the end of the plowing process and that graders were on every neighborhood...

As of Tuesday afternoon, about 60% of residential streets had been plowed.

Officials with the City of Superior are busy working to clean up the streets and alleys after this past weekends historic snow storm.

For a few kids and grownups in Duluth they were able to find some fun and laughs in the midst of the snowmageddon storm this past weekend.

The last time I left my house was Saturday, and on Tuesday morning we are still stuck. What a blizzard this has been!

Violation of this law is a misdemeanor.

The Bentleyville Tour of Lights remains buried in snow from the recent Northland storm and they will remain closed until snow removal can be successfully completed.
