Superior’s 4th Of July Festivities Include A Parade, Bounce Houses, Music and Fireworks
June is flying by and the 4th Of July will be here in a flash. If you're still not settled on your plans for the holiday, the City Of Superior has a full day of activities scheduled.
There is a little something for everyone in the family, and it all begins at 11:00 a.m. Here is the schedule of events:
- The Superior 4th of July Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m., starting at the Superior Middle School and ending on Catlin Avenue.
- At 1:00 p.m., you'll find the Superior Singers & bounce houses Heritage Park, while food and craft vendors will be ready to go at Barker’s Island Festival Park.
- From 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., it's the 1st Annual Dennis Van Alstine Memorial Car Show.
There will also be live music at Barker's Island throughout the afternoon, with the following artists scheduled to perform:
- Timerline plays from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Todd Eckart from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Aftershock from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
To cap off the day, fireworks will be launched from Barker's Island Festival Park at dusk.
