The Superior Police Department reached out for the public's help identifying and locating a person of interest as they conduct a theft investigation.

The person in question was captured leaving what appears to be a grocery store. They also appear to be wearing a hoodie, hat and jacket. Although Superior Police acknowledge the photo quality isn't of the best quality, they're hoping someone in the Northland knows who this is.

They reached out Wednesday afternoon on the Superior Police Department Facebook page:

We would like to speak to the following individual regarding a theft investigation. If you happen to know who this person is (we know the quality isn't the best), please contact Det. Holmgren at 715-395-7603 or holmgrens@ci.superior.wi.us.

Another way to notify police with helpful information is to visit a specific page Superior Police have set up through CitizenObserver.com.

The helpful online resource allows anyone to submit an anonymous tip to the Superior Police Department.

To utilize the online option, the following information will need to be provided:

  • The main subject matter of you tip. In this case it would be the photo Superior Police shared with the public regarding a theft investigation.
  • Location. You could add you saw the photo through social media and it appears the subject is exiting a grocery store.
  • Details/Description. Here is where you'd say what you know about the individual in question.

Providing an anonymous tip online also allows you to submit an image or video to the Superior Police Department.

As is always the case with these types of things, the more people who see this, the better chance there is for this person to be located so they can talk to the police. If you don't know who this is, share on social media with others who just might.
