Wow, it's hard to believe that another season of the Superior Downtown Farmer's Market will begin today, rain or shine throughout the summer from 11a-2p through October.  However, you should know that due to construction the location has moved.

It's a nostalgic feeling when I buy from the Farmer's Market.  We use to get great home-grown (with love) vegetables when I was growing up in Wrenshall.  It feels good knowing I'm giving my family fresh, healthy, locally-grown veggies and fruits.  Each week there's new harvests, it's fun to watch the harvest change as we get deeper into the summer.  You can expect cucumbers, string beans, scallions, new potatoes, zucchini, peppers, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, onions, jams, maple syrup, condiments, roasted coffees, baked goods, handmade soaps, plants and so much more.  There is also art and craft vendors and most Wednesdays, lunch available while you shop.

Because of the construction on Belknap, the farmer's market has moved.  The new located in the 1200 block of Banks Avenue, one block behind the Androy Hotel [location pic] will offer more space and lots of parking.
