This event put on by the Lake Superior Chapter of SFA is going into it's 26th year.  It helps to connect producers and consumers and gives people a chance to meet their neighbors and the people who grow some of our food.

The event is so large, it takes place at Bayfront Festival Park in downtown Duluth.  Basically it's a giant farmer's market, one of the largest in the region.  Not only will you find wholesome and delicious produce, but also live music, crafts, educational exhibits, family activities, and a nonprofit showcase.  There will also be opportunities to learn about beekeeping, backyard composting, and backyard chicken raising.

The whole event is locally focused, featuring locally grown and locally sourced goods.  As a bonus, admission is free and so is parking.  It's Saturday, September 7th, from 10:00AM-4:00PM.  You can get more information on this free event, it's sponsors, and everything else it has to offer here.
