Superior’s Farmers’ Market Prepares To Open For 2022 Season
The Superior Downtown Farmer's Market is getting ready to kick off the 2022 season in Downtown Superior. The farmers market is put on by the Superior Business Improvement District each summer.
The farmers' market has been at a couple of different locations over the years. It used to be at the Center City Park on the corner of Belknap and Tower, but it has now moved to 1215 Banks Avenue. That's one block behind the Androy Hotel.
The first farmers' market of the year will take place on Wednesday, May 25. It will be held every Wednesday after that through late October. If people have questions they can contact Jodi at 715-395-3557.
The farmers' market is open from 11:00 am-2 pm and features locally grown produce along with a bunch of other things. Crafts, jams, cheeses, furniture, and candles are just some of the many things I've seen over the years there. There also have been meat vendors from local farms in the past too. They also usually have a food vendor so you can grab lunch that is relatively cheap during your lunch break.
Thanks to the Superior Business Improvement District for bringing back this nice community event again. The SBID works with 89 blocks of businesses ready to serve you in the Central Business District of Superior, Wisconsin."
