Some Jerks Are Stealing Wheels Off Northwest Wisconsin Car Lots

Car dealerships in Northwest Wisconsin have been targeted by thieves who are stealing the wheels right off the cars in the lot. According to CBS3Duluth, car dealerships in Ashland, Merrell, Neillsville, Hayward, Rice Lake, and in St. Croix county have been hit.

In Ashland at the Von Holzen dealership, 7 cars were found put up on blocks with wheels missing.

How does this happen and go unnoticed? Von Holzen is right in town and just off highway 2. Especially when it's 7 cars? That's 28 wheels that were removed? You'd need a big truck to even haul that many out!

I'm guessing that these dealerships will be investing in security cameras if they haven't already.
