Over a dozen history organizations are gathering May 8th at the Great Hall of the St. Louis Heritage & Arts Center (The Depot) to present the History Fair. They will showcase  artifacts and interesting pieces of our local rich history.

With all the representatives available, they will be able to tell you about local history and let it unfold, so you can see why certain things are the way they are. Some of the names of landmarks and areas and the real people they are named after.

There will be  representatives from the Twin Ports Genealogical Society, Glensheen mansion, and many more. Some of the objects displayed during this event are not normally seen by the public and may not be displayed for some time. This may be the only time in this area.

This is a great way to learn about the organizations, many of them need some volunteer help, or maybe you have a connection to score an artifact.  The event will be held from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. There will be free appetizers and a cash bar available. For more information visit their facebook page.
