YouTuber Ryan Trahan Visits Duluth + Minneapolis During 50 State Challenge

My kids love watching Ryan Trahan on YouTube. To be honest, he's probably one of the few YouTubers my kids like that I'll watch with them.

Most of his videos are travel-related and involve reviews across the country. He has a very friendly style, and his videos are age-appropriate and interesting. So we hear a lot of Ryan Trahan's voice in our house, especially during summer vacation.

He and his wife, Haley, are doing a 50 states in 50 days challenge and raising money for St. Jude. They recently stopped in Duluth, Minnesota, and stayed at the Duluth Pump House Airbnb. It's located right on Lake Superior with 200 feet of lakefront. It was a pretty cool spot for them to stay!

Part of their challenge is the wheel of doom they spin when they get huge donations to St. Jude. There are different challenges on the wheel that make things interesting. One of the challenges was that they needed to split up on Day 40, so Ryan made his way to Downtown Duluth. He rode his ebike through Lakeside and London Road before hopping onto the lakewalk.

Of course, they both had to get their morning coffee. Ryan went to a local spot and checked out Duluth Coffee.

He had some good things to say and was impressed with how friendly everyone in Duluth was.

He also needed to get booster members, which basically was donations from people on the street. He was also looking for a ride to Minneapolis. Using some connections, he got a number from his friend and was able to get a ride.

Meanwhile, his wife Haley checked out Minnesota's Caribou Coffee. She liked it! She also had a waffle sandwich. Yep, we know here in Minnesota that Caribou is where it's at.

On their trip, they stopped by a Casey's General Store and the Mall of America. Then he hitched a ride with the Wright family and went to Iowa to wrap up day 40 of his challenge.
