You'll have plenty of time to train with your eye on that goal.  To see the Aerial Lift Bridge on the horizon, to hear the crowds cheer you down Superior Street and to see the finish line as you round that final bend in the home stretch!

Registration for the 39th running of Grandma's Marathon opened today.  It is currently the 16th largest marathon in the U.S. Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 20, 2015 and get training!

The 2015 marathon registration pricing opens with an initial entry fee of $90, which will remain through August 31. On September 1, the fee will increase to $95 (see complete fee structure below).

  •  $90 - July 1, 2014 to August 31, 2014
  •  $95 - September 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014
  •  $105 - January 1, 2015 to March 31, 2015
  • $115 - April 1, 2015 to May 31, 2015

The 2015 Grandma's Marathon weekend also will feature the 25th annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and the 22nd annual William A. Irvin 5K. Registration for those two events begins next February and March, respectively. The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, June 20 and the William A. Irvin 5K on Friday, June 19. The 2014 Grandma’s Marathon had 7,964 entrants.
