It is crazy to think that Grandma's Marathon is just two months away. Now that it is finally feeling like spring, training should be a little bit easier. The nice weather also made the 50th anniversary of the race feel a little more real.

The major milestone has made this race even more special, with all of the races selling out in record time last year. In fact, nearly 20,000 racers sold out the races in just about twelve hours.

With that being said, life happens and many people that grab a bib can't commit to training, have a commitment that pops up or get injured, meaning there are bibs up for grabs for those that didn't get one the first round.

If you are on the hunt for a bib for any of the races or need to get rid of yours, listen up: the deadline to transfer is coming up very soon.

Reminder: Grandma's Marathon Transfer Deadline Is Looming

The last day to transfer a bib or get one transferred to you is Friday, May 1st. That means in about a week, you will be out of luck so start planning ahead if you haven't already! There are absolutely no exceptions to this, per the Grandma's Marathon website.

There is a fee if you are receiving the bib transfer. That fee is about $27 bucks. Please note that going through all the official channels is the only way to transfer a bib. Do not buy one from a third-party or without going through the website.

If you are serious about transferring a bib or getting one through the portal, you should read up on all the things it entails on the Grandma's website. There is a whole section about entry transfers and all the questions that may go along with it.
