When the Minnesota Lynx won the WNBA championship last year, it was the first title for a professional Minnesota team in 20 years.  Today, the Lynx finally made their trip to the White House and were warmly greeted by President Barack Obama.

According to StarTribune.com, Obama mentioned the Lynx's drafting of Maya Moore, and joked that she keeps coming back to the White House.

"This is like the fourth time," the president said, a reference to her visits as a member of her collegiate championship team, University of Connecticut.

Obama also cited Lindsay Whalen's play as league assist leader.

The Minnesota Lynx are having another very successful season this year, so let's hope for back-to-back titles and another visit to our nation's capitol next year!
