A stunning 90 percent would fight harder for a pet in a divorce than they would for money.
With candidates starting to emerge for the 2012 run for the White House, here's an interesting stat for some contenders to keep in mind: Two-thirds of those with pets would not vote for a presidential candidate if they think he or she dislikes pets.
If they were forced to have only one friend, 73 percent said they would have their pet fill the role instead of a person.
Ninety-eight percent say it's important for kids to grow up with pets around them.
