Old Farmer’s Almanac: February 2021 Snowstorm For Duluth Area

Another month is upon us and it's time to take a look at just what February has in store for us weather-wise.

To come to this conclusion, I always turn to the Old Farmer's Almanac. They make long-term weather predictions by region and although some are skeptical of their methods, it is always fun to read what they are forecasting for a particular month or time period.

So what are they predicting for the Northland in February of 2021? Let me break down their predictions for you.

To kick off the month, the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting periods of snow showers and mild conditions. This is expected to last through the thirteenth of the month.

From Valentine's Day and the following few days, the cold will return along with flurries. Sunshine will return on February 17th accompanied by mild conditions.

Beginning on February 21st through the 25th, we will see periods of snow and cold temperatures. Brace yourself: the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting we close out the month with a snowstorm and frigid temperatures! No more information is given about this snowstorm.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, our average temperature will hover about six degrees above average. We will see above average precipitation as well.

I don't know about you but I am still thinking about the snowstorm! It would be normal, of course, but it is something else seeing that word. Ha!
