NWS Duluth Releases Weather Outlook For Late June
It has been a hot, hot month and it looks like that is all about to change.
The National Weather Service of Duluth released an outlook for the Twin Ports that looks at what we can expect from June 20th through the 24th of the month.
So what is on tap for the end of the month? Apparently, the opposite of how we started the month - almost!
No, we are not going to see a cold snap but according to their forecast, we can expect temperatures to be cooler-than-average. Take a look at their graphic below:
There you have it! Like I said, it won't be a cold snap or anything like that but we will get a much needed relief from the heat. I know I am looking forward to slightly cooler temperatures.
So what about rain? The National Weather Service of Duluth answered that question as well with their outlook. According to their forecast, we have a slight chance or wetter-than-average conditions in our neck of the woods.
Overall, it looks like it should be a relatively mild period. We have earned it after how hot it was to start the month! In case you don't remember, we had a major heat wave that kicked off the month of June. After the first week, we hit the record for the warmest start to the month ever in Duluth.
I like that this is somewhere in the middle! It won't be too hot and it won't be so cold that we start shivering. Mild weather is good and always welcome here in the Twin Ports. We go through enough year-round. Ha!
