Netflix ‘Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates’ Review
I recently was prompted by Netflix to watch a new documentary limited series called 'Inside Bill's Brain: Decoding Bill Gates.' Honestly, it didn't really seem like something I would have wanted to watch. I scrolled past it for several days before I finally watched it. I was tired of scrolling and figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did.
I figured I knew everything about Bill. He started Microsoft, made millions, and he did some charity work I wasn't familiar with. That was what I had made my mind up to him. I really couldn't have cared less about Bill Gates.
That changed relatively quickly while watching the first few minutes of the three part series. The documentary does a great job of breaking up the story into several different parts. You'll learn a little about his past, and then it cuts to what he's working on now. For the most part it ties it all together really well. After learning about Bill & Melinda Gates' charity work, I now care a lot about Bill Gates (and now Melinda too.) They have spent hundreds of millions of dollars helping people across the world.
Just as important as the money they've contributed is the priceless computing power of Bill's brain. The series does a good job of getting bill to tell us in his own words how his brain works. Basically it never shuts off. It's always working through problems and handling very complex thing.
I'm glad I took the time to watch this series and learn more about Bill. He's truly a genius of our time.
