Last week, a semi that was travelling in Minnesota struck a female pedestrian, causing life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi did not stop and now the Minnesota State Patrol needs the public's help locating the driver.

The incident took place on Thursday, November 11, in Becker County and since a semi was involved, the truck could have traveled anywhere throughout Minnesota and beyond.

According to a post shared on the Minnesota State Patrol Facebook page:

Investigators have learned that the model of Volvo trailer is a VNL 64. The suspect vehicle is in the photograph.
We are asking for the public’s help locating a semi that hit a pedestrian at approximately 7:15 p.m. Thursday on Highway 34 near Height of Land Township in Becker County.
The suspect vehicle is a white Volvo tractor (2016-2018 model) pulling a flatbed trailer with two pieces of machinery or other load covered with a tarp on the back. The right front headlight is out and the tractor has noticeable damage to the front right bumper and headlight area.
The vehicle was last seen headed westbound through the Detroit Lakes area. The 42-year-old female victim suffered life-threatening injuries. Please contact us at 218-846-8244 with any information.

There were a lot of people travelling throughout Minnesota over the weekend, including those who attended the record-setting George Strait concert at U.S. Bank Stadium Saturday, so if the semi in question remained within the state, perhaps someone remembers seeing this Volvo tractor. Again, it was pulling a loaded flatbed trailer so perhaps that will ring a bell with someone.

Again, if anyone remembers seeing this semi, please call 218-846-8244 with any information you might have.
