Here's something I can get behind!  Minnesota State Parks are offering free admission on the day after Thanksgiving, traditionally known as Black Friday.   It's the busiest shopping day of the year, where people rush to shop for big deals.  Some argue that it takes away time from the family, especially when stores start deals on Thanksgiving night.

Lieutenant Governer Tina Smith has announced that all MN State Parks will be free on Friday, November 27th.  It's dubbed "Free Park Friday."

At a time of year when Minnesotans pause to give thanks, I am so grateful for the incredible state parks and trails we have here in Minnesota. Visiting these parks is a great way to spend time with family and loved ones, relieve stress, and enjoy exercise in the great outdoors.
