Bike-Sharing Program Comes To Superior
I noticed this last week when I was driving through Catlin Avenue in the UWS Campus. A row of bikes was set up with 'City of Superior' written across the front basket. At first I assumed it was something for the college kids, but was surprised to learn today that there are 5 different locations around town that have these bikes. They are open for anyone to rent, you just need an app and pay the fee.
Zagster is the name of the app. You can download the app on your smartphone and then try out the ride. It's not free, it costs $1 for every 30 minutes and there are other plans such as a monthly membership for $10. It's really not that expensive, especially if you just want to ocassionally ride a bike. The city unveiled the new bike share program with an event at Millennium Trail in Superior.
