People often say that parents should outlive their children, but that isn't always the case.  To help those parents cope with the loss of their child or children, there is a national/international network of memorial parks.  One such park is located on the Range and is taking orders for memorial tiles to be placed on a memorial wall.

It's called the Angel of Hope Children's Memorial Park and is located on the South shore of Silver Lake in Virginia, MN.  The inspiration for the network of parks is based on a book, "The Christmas Box".  The hope is that parents and family members of the deceased child can find peace at the parks across the world.

The memorial wall will house tiles that have been personalized in remembrance of a child.  This is something that parents can buy in memory of their child or that can be purchased as a gift.  Each of the tiles can be engraved and when a tile is purchased the Friends of the Children's Memorial Park will let the family know and then send a card of acknowledgment.

According to WDIO.com they are currently taking orders for this year's dedication, but hurry, you need to place your order by May 15, 2017.  If you wait until after that date, the tile will be dedicated next year.  You also have the option of purchasing a replica brick with the purchase of a tile.

You can choose from the following:

4" X 8" Tile with 1 to 3 lines of inscription is $200

8" X 8" Tile with 1 to 6 lines of inscription is $300

If you are moved to contribute by making a donation, they can be sent to:
