Minnesota City Named One Of The Best For Christmas
Tis the season for doing all things related to the holidays: driving to see big holiday light displays, shopping for the loved ones in your life and watching all the cheesy Christmas movies.
In Duluth, we have holiday vibes the second it starts snowing. Part of that is attributed to Bentleyville and the rest is attributed to the fact that our city looks so serene and romantic with a little bit of snow.

I mean, we have had a few holiday movies filmed here so that confirms my theory. In fact, you can watch both of them with a special event coming up right before Christmas. Romantic Christmas movies are my favorite part of the holidays!
All of this being said, Christmas is a big deal all across Minnesota - and now one city in the state has been named one of the best for Christmas.
WalletHub Names The Best Cities For Christmas In 2025
WalletHub released a list on Tuesday (December 16th) of the best cities for Christmas this year. So what makes a city the best for Christmas? They looked at a handful of things, including how many Christmas tree farms there are per capita, gift shops per capita and more.

They also factored in things like toy stores and hobby shops per capita and online giving per capita, which is a big part of this time of the year. They looked at all these factors to come up with their list - and Minnesota did pretty well.
Minnesota City Named Among Best Cities For Christmas In 2025
No, it's not Duluth but Minneapolis did make the top twenty, being named one of the best cities for Christmas this year. Minneapolis came in at number nineteen, meaning it's a great place to get into the holiday spirit.

Minneapolis didn't top any of the lists for the factors they weighted here but the city did well enough to represent the Land Of 10,000 Lakes so that's exciting! I think Minnesota is magical this time of the year but Duluth definitely has more Christmas vibes, in my opinion!
We only have a few more days to do all the Christmas things so get to it! I know I will be watching even more holiday movies between now and the big day.
As for the best place in the country to celebrate the holiday, that would be Atlanta. This seems random but I just visited there a few months ago and it's a really cool place.
