Another Duluth Attraction Snags National Honors

Just a day after Bentleyville was named the very best public holiday light display in the entire country, another major attraction in the Northland has gained nationwide attention in the very best way.

USA Today has released the results of their annual 'best of' lists. It started with their editors and experts on staff looking at possible nominees for each category. Once they had them, they opened it up to readers to narrow it down.

Now, the Glensheen Mansion has joined Bentleyville as one of the best of the best for 2025 - beating out attractions in major cities nationwide.

Lots of people want to get into the holiday spirit, myself included, and sometimes that requires a bit of a road trip. Many people make that trip to our neck of the woods to see the Glensheen year round, but it's even more special during the holidays as it is decorated for the holidays.

USA Today credits its large size, architecture and of course, the fact that it's along the shores of Lake Superior, as a few reasons why it is so special. They also cite the candlelight tours you can take every Christmas season and the self-guided tours as being other selling points.

As for the top spot, that went to Graceland. I have been and I can totally see why that made the list but I do think the Glensheen gives it a run for its money!
