Meet Punky: Animal Allies Pet Of The Week

Every Wednesday we take a few minutes to talk to Sarah at Animal Allies about what is going on at the shelters.  They always have a several things going on, and this week was no different.  The cat adoption promotion is still running, as summer months tend to bring in a lot of stray cats.  Kittens and cats right now are only $5.  They've all been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and vet checked.  This week she talked about Punky, who is part of the cat adoption promotion.

Punky is a domestic medium hair mix, and is really popular with the folks at the shelter.

Punky is a shy, sweet girl who is looking for a calm, trusting forever home. Once she gets to know you, Punky is very friendly and playful. She calls you over to her kennel, curiously sniffs your hand, and then thanks you for visiting her with gentle kitty kisses. Punky takes a bit of time to warm up though, so she will need a home that has the patience to wait until this pretty girl comes out of her shell.
