Maurices and the American Cancer Society Honor Breast Cancer Survivors by Lighting the Aerial Lift Bridge Pink

This is SO COOL!  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Maurices and the American Cancer Society have come up with a way to make sure everyone in the Northland knows.  They're going to light Duluth's Aerial Lift Bridge PINK!

The lighting is going to take place on Friday, October 5 at 7p.  Along with "pinking" the bridge, there be a city proclamation read by Duluth City Council Member, Jennifer Julsrud.  Cancer survivors, caregivers, supporters and YOU are invited to  attend, near the Lake Superior Maritime Museum's tugboat.   Speakers will talk about Saturday's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and there will be light refreshments after the lighting.
