
10 Reasons Duluth Is The Perfect Backdrop For A Holiday Movie
The holidays are here and that means many things here in the Northland. It means Bentleyville is back and people will be coming from ALL OVER the place to walk through the light festival, as they should.
It also means winter in Duluth, which can be rough. The good thing is that you can stay inside and do one of my favorite past times: watch cheesy Christmas movies. The cheesier, the better.

We've even had a few filmed here, which were instant classics. A few years ago, Merry Kiss Cam filmed in Duluth and was a big hit on Hulu! Duluthians recognized every local place featured in the movie.
We also had Rescuing Christmas, which starred big names like Sam Page from Grey's Anatomy and Rachael Leigh Cook, famous for her roles in so many things and a Minnesota native.
Another Duluth Christmas Movie Connection - Revealed!
Recently, an artist from the area was featured in not one but TWO holiday movies. Sydney Hansen is from the area and now spends her time in Nashville making a name for herself. Her latest project is pretty cool.

What Makes Duluth A Perfect Backdrop For A Holiday Movie
Minnesota in general is a great place for a holiday movie. We have cute, small towns and sometimes it feels like we are living in a snow globe. I feel this way about Duluth especially. It just gives holiday movie vibes.
