Mall Of America Featured On New Episode Of ‘Wahlburgers’

Late last year, all of Minnesota (mainly just me, probably) went into a frenzy with news that the Wahlberg brothers would be opening a location of their famous restaurant in the Mall of America.

In May, they then threw a curveball by announcing they would be visiting the new location IN PERSON. (And we aren't just talking about hanging out outside of it like Donnie did during Super Bowl Week.)

It turns out, the grand opening was even more special than anyone could have imagined: it was filmed for their popular show, Wahlburgers! If you aren't familiar with it, it basically follows stars Donnie, Mark and their brother Paul. It airs on A&E and is hugely popular.

Their visit to the grand opening was featured on a new episode Wednesday night. It was cleverly titled 'Wahl Of America' and shows the famous family visiting the location and greeting thousands of fans. While there, the brothers also discuss the future of the chain. UGH.

I am a huge Donnie Wahlberg fan and when I found out he was coming I freaked out!! I planned to attend but got very sick that week and was down for the count. This episode only added salt to the wound. Hopefully they come back. For now, I will just eat at Wahlburgers.

The show airs Wednesday nights and is currently on its ninth season.
