Luke Bryan Cancels 2020 Show At Xcel Energy Center

Luke Bryan isn't coming to Minnesota in 2020 after all. The country star has cancelled his September show at the Xcel Energy Center due to COVID-19 coronavirus.

He announced the news on his social media platforms Thursday (June 25th), stating that he would be pushing his Proud To Be Right Here Tour a year to 2021. However, not all shows have been rescheduled for the new year, with a handful being cancelled instead.

His show at the Xcel Energy Center is one of them. The show was set for Friday, September 25th. Morgan Wallen and Runaway June were set to open the shows.

Refund information regarding tickets was not given at the time of the announcement. However, Xcel Energy Center's website has contact information listed for those that have questions about cancelled, rescheduled or postponed events.

If you purchased your ticket on Ticketmaster, a refund will be given to you automatically within 30 days, according to their website.

Luke is the latest in a handful of country stars who have cancelled or postponed a tour due to COVID-19 concerns. George Strait postponed his big U.S. Bank Stadium show a year, from 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic. Kenny Chesney did the same, moving his show at the venue a year because of COVID-19.
