It's a sign of St. Patrick's Day weekend in the Northland! The annual Saint Fennessy 4K is upon us. The race takes place on Saturday (March 16th) and if you have always wanted to take part or haven't signed up yet, get on it.

Race organizers shared, at the time of writing, there are still spots open for the race this weekend but space is limited. They shared early Wednesday (March 13th) that about 100 spots are left.

This is much more than just a race! Proceeds benefit the Young Athletes Foundation. The race starts at 10 a.m. at Skyline, which is at 4894 Miller Trunk Highway. The race also ends at Skyline!

If you don't sign up, you might get pinched. You can register online through Thursday. After that, you can register in-person at Skyline Social & Games in Hermantown on both Friday and Saturday morning before the race.

Parking is free at Skyline or at Marcus Lakes Cinema on the day of the race. If you park at the movie theater, you must move your car by noon. There is also a post-race party with food and special St. Patrick's Day themed drinks! (Yes, they are green.)

On top of all of this fun, there will also be a raffle and costume contest. All participants will get a free shirt commemorating the annual race! I haven't taken part in this race yet so I am excited to give it a go this weekend.

This is a great way to get a little training in for Grandma's Marathon or to start your holiday weekend off right with a little exercise and green beer! It's been absolutely beautiful out and we've been spoiled in Minnesota so this is also a great way to get outside and soak it all in.
