Kara Goucher Finishes Fifth in the US 10,000 Meters

While Duluth native Kara Goucher will not be running this weekend at Grandmas Marathon, she is still out there racing and performing extremely well. 

KBJR-TV is reportingthat Kara finished fifth at the women's 10,000-meter event at the U.S. Track and Field Championships on Thursday night while her training partner Shalane Flanagan won the event in Des Moines, Iowa. Goucher finished the race in 32 minutes, 59.23 seconds.
