I recently moved to a different side of town. I pass the Kenwood Apartments a few times a day and I noticed something that scared me out of my boots.

I was sitting at a traffic light when I looked up and saw what I thought was a man in a butler outfit staring at me.

It turns out, it is not a real person but instead a doll / statue / something else that can't be described. Ha! I don't know exactly what it is but I think it is hilarious and amazing. It's been there for quite some time and has never moved an inch.

I do have some questions though - why is it facing the direction it is? Is this a prank for a neighbor or does the resident just have a funny sense of humor? Is it going to stay through the winter? I need answers.

It simply peers out over the railing of the balcony like it is looking in the distance. I'm sure the apartment's resident knows that people get freaked out by it and gets some enjoyment out of that - as I would.

Next time you're driving in the area, make sure to look up or you just might miss it.
