Grandma’s Marathon Brings A Weekend Full of Live Music
Grandma's Marathon weekend brings a lot of runners and spectators to the Northland, who will all be busy Saturday with the main race and the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon. It also means that there's fun, live entertainment both Friday and Saturday nights in Canal Park.
Grandma's 2017 Rock The Big Top lineup features national recording artists and regional favorites. Here is the weekend lineup:
Friday, June 16
Everclear headlines a night of 90's standouts. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. and Fastball will take the stage first, followed by Vertical Horizon and then Everclear. Tickets are $20 and you must be 21+
Saturday, June 17
There will be free afternoon entertainment under the big top during the day, beginning with the Lake City Smoking Section at 11:30 a.m. The Shalo Lee Band will be up next, followed by Rhino at 3:30 p.m.
They will then close the big top gates in preparation for the nighttime entertainment, which is always a big party. Saturday night tickets are $10 and you must be 21+.
The gates will open at 7:00 p.m. and Rhino will take the stage first, followed by the Shalo Lee Band and then Snake Oil will cap off the night with a fun, interactive set of rock favorites.
