It's the season of giving and there are certainly plenty of places across the Northland that could put donations to good use within our community.

One group of people that may not be at the top of people's minds is the children who are forced to spend the holiday season getting medical care. Having a child in a hospital would be difficult at any time of the year, but it would be even harder during the holiday season.

Essentia Health-St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Duluth appreciates everyone who remembers these kids and they've put together a list of popular items for the different age groups who are hospitalized throughout the early. They add that all donations help improve the lives of children in their care.

If you can help, you'll see the full list of items below. Keep in mind that due to infection control guidelines, all donations must be brand new with their original tags.
