The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) says the 2020 World Teachers’ Day celebrated teachers with the theme “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”. The day provided the occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide, take stock of achievements, and draw attention to the voices of teachers, who are at the heart of efforts to attain the global education target of leaving no one behind.
From a local level, the pandemic has provided teachers with the added stress of teaching through a pandemic, when the method in which they teach can change in an instant.
It's always important to show gratitude towards our educators, so make sure to tell every teacher you know to stop by Engwall's this week and get a well-deserved present.
