Duluth native Jordan Schmidt has added another hit song to his resume. He helped write Tyler Hubbard's first solo single, which is sure to be a smash.

Schmidt has written so many country music hits since he moved to Nashville. He has even helped write some of the biggest hits in the genre over the years, including Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina's number one hit What Ifs.

He has also written a bunch of Jason Aldean songs, including Lights Come On and We Back. Both of the songs were massive hits. He also wrote one of the most popular songs of Jason's career, You Make It Easy.

The list of songs Schmidt has written goes on and on. He's also collaborated with Granger Smith, Chris Lane and many other big superstars in country music. He has had so much success that he was even nominated for Songwriter Of The Year in 2020.

Now, he's adding to his resume and a surefire smash with his credit on Tyler Hubbard's new song. In case you've been living under a rock, Florida Georgia Line announced earlier this year that they'd be taking a break to do their own solo thing.

Brian Kelley has released his own solo music and now it's Tyler Hubbard's turn. He recently signed a solo record deal and quickly started teasing new music. Now, he has announced his first solo single called 5 foot 9.

He announced the exciting news on his social media pages Thursday (May 12th), with many big country stars weighing in excitedly in the comments. The song doesn't drop until Friday, May 20th but you can hear a little bit of it below.

I am sure this will be a big smash, considering he was the main voice of Florida Georgia Line. He hasn't announced details of his first solo album but those are sure to come soon!

It's already been a big year for Schmidt. He helped write the title track of Cole Swindell's latest album Sterotype. He also helped pen God's Country, which was cut by Blake Shelton. That song won a ton of awards, including the ACM Award for Single Of The Year in 2020. It also snagged a CMA Award and was nominated for a Grammy.

His latest radio hit was another Blake Shelton single, Come Back As A Country Boy. The song peaked inside the top fifteen and was very catchy if I do say so myself.

As if all of these cowrites weren't cool enough, he also had a song on the biggest album of 2021. He wrote a song that was featured on Morgan Wallen's double album Dangerous. The title isn't safe to say here but you can listen to the track below. (You've been warned, it contains sensitive language.)

Like I said, it has been a big few years for the Duluth native. Thanks for making us proud and representing Duluth so well!

Best Songs On Morgan Wallen's Dangerous Album

Morgan Wallen's Dangerous Album has set some sales records even amid the controversy earlier this year. I've listened to the album many times. There isn't really a song I don't like on the album. They are all pretty good, but there are some that really stand out.
