Duluth Police Need Help Identifying Man Who Robbed Local Bank Monday Afternoon
A bank robbery took place Monday afternoon and now the Duluth Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify the individual responsible.
They reached out to share details Monday on the Duluth Police Department's official Facebook page. They report that at approximately 3:30 p.m., Monday, February 28, Duluth Police Officers were dispatched to the National Bank of Commerce, located on West Superior Street for a call of a robbery.
Once officers arrived, they spoke to employees who stated that a male had entered the bank and then demanded money from them. The individual took an undisclosed amount of money and walked out of the bank. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries and no reported weapons that were displayed. Now, it's time to catch the person responsible.
The Duluth Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in the below photo. He is described as being a 5’9” male with a possible limp wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, white hat, black tennis shoes, sunglasses, dark-colored gloves, and a camo mask.
Duluth Police would like anyone that has any information on their whereabouts or who this individual is, to please dial 911 and reference case number 22027483.
