When Is The Screening + How Can I Get Tickets?

The Duluth Depot will be holding a special screening of the film on Tuesday, December 12th! The 7 p.m. showing is sold out but there are still tickets available for the second showing at 9:15 p.m.

This special screening is completely free. However, you do need to reserve a spot prior to showtime. Because the first screening sold out so fast, you will want to snag your tickets as soon as possible. You can get up to four tickets.

All tickets left with about ten minutes prior to the screening will be released to walk-ups. Grab yours online now before the last screening sells out!

Doors open at 8 p.m. for the second showing. How cool to see the movie in the place where the movie was filmed? The Depot is located at 506 West Michigan Avenue in downtown Duluth.

Will Any Of The Cast Or Crew Be There?

As if all of this wasn't exciting enough, the producer of the film will also be in attendance. Mandy June Turpin will be holding a Q&A to talk about the making of the movie. Other special guests may also appear, per the Upper Midwest Film Office.

What Is 'Rescuing Christmas' About?

This movie has all the makings of a Hallmark classic! It stars Minnesota native Rachael Leigh Cook in the lead role, along with Wisconsin native Sam Page, famous for his role in Grey's Anatomy. Duluthian Bailey Stender also has a starring role in the movie!

The movie follows a woman named Erin, played by Cook, that wishes Christmas never existed. She wakes up the next day to realize that her wish came true and she's accidentally taken away everyone's Christmas joy. She discovered through this what the holiday season is really about - and of course, because it is a Hallmark movie, there is a little romance as well!
