Now that temperatures are getting cold, people that are homeless are looking for somewhere to sleep.

Dorothy Day, and Olive Branch, a community-run shelter offering family-style hospitality for the homeless, and other services. They are saying there are over 150 people sleeping outside on any given night and could rise this winter. They will be sleeping in bone-chilling temperatures in a month and will need somewhere to go or some kind of shelter.
Dorothy Day is collecting tents, and are looking for 150 of them based on the number of people they believe are sleeping with no shelter in the Duluth/Superior area. Tents, sleeping bags, and other winter gear are what they are looking for.
If you can help and donate, Dorothy Day, Olive Branch and Loaves and Fishes will distribute the winter gear to the people that need it. They will post a graphic on their Facebook page to keep track of how many of these items are collected.
