Duluth Ministry Holds Fill The Truck For Homeless Community Event

A local non-profit ministry is asking the public to come out and support our homeless community. Their goal is to fill a truck full of donations needed for the area's unhoused population. They want to create a mobile donation truck, where they can travel to where people need help. An event has been scheduled for later this summer.

Duluth Hands & Hearts Come Together - Little Saints Street Ministry

The event will take place at Texas Roadhouse on Central Entrance in Duluth on August 16, 2026. From 11 am to 9 PM, people can stop by and donate much-needed goods to fill the truck.

We invite you, your family, and friends to come together and help us make a meaningful impact in the lives of those experiencing homelessness in our community. This event is all about showing love, restoring dignity, and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Suggested Items To Donate

They are looking for school supplies for local families, such as backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, glue sticks, scissors, and basic calculators.

Donations for personal hygiene products are also needed, like deodorant, toothbrushes, and feminine hygiene products.

Camping and outdoor gear are also needed, like tents, backpacks, tarps, water bottles, and sleeping bags.

Dine & Donate At Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of the cost of your meal to Little Saints Street Ministry. A flyer available at the door is required for the donation.

Kids Carnival and Raffles

The Fill The Truck event will also have raffles, kids' carnival games, and other family-friendly activities.
