Construction On West Michigan Street Will Affect 4th Avenue West Parking Ramp

West Michigan Street is now rolling into their 4th phase of construction and that will affect the 4th Avenue West parking ramp.  Here's the scoop!

The City of Duluth sent a press release to let us know they have advanced to the 4th phase.  For about the next month you will have to enter the 4th Avenue  West parking lot from 4th Avenue West only.  They need to make a temporary exit and that will involve the 4th Avenue West and Michigan Street intersection.  The exit normally used will need to be closed during this phase of the project.

What will be done during phase 5?

They will be working on concrete repairs after electrical upgrades by Minnesota Power.  This work probably won't be done until October, but will affect the north side of Michigan Street.  It will have to be blocked for about two weeks.  Motorists will use the south side at that time.
