Congratulations to Heather Hren’s Hermantown Kindergarten Class On Winning Service Learning Award

Congratulations to Heather Hren and her Kindergarten class, the most recent receipts of the Service Learning Northland Award of $200 from maurices.  Her kindergarten class and other first graders in Hermantown put on a health and wellness fair to allow families, students, and community to learn from agencies and volunteers about healthy habits!

Cathy and I delivered the check yesterday and visited with the class about their service learning project and how their spreading the word about healthy lifestyle changes.  We answered some question about the radios station and other fun facts.

They also made us a huge thank you card and they all signed it.
