One of the things that is nice to see in a time of so much technology is kids that still have an interest in reading.  There are so many distractions nowadays that I'll admit make even me guilty of not reading like I used to.  If you have a child that loves to read or have some books you are done with, you might want to check out this event.

There will be two sales dates for the month of November, the first is Saturday the 7th from 11:00AM-12:30PM.  The second will be on Tuesday, November 10th from 12:30-2:00PM.  You can stop out before or during these events to donate any books if you have them.  The library will then sort them and add to their collection or if they have copies of a title already will put them up for sale.

The sales go to support programs that a group called The Friends of the Cloquet public Library work hard on all year long.  Programs include the Adults and Kids Take-and-Make kits, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Summer and Winter Reading, and much more.

In addition, there is always a display of books for sale near the door any time of the year to purchase and help support them.  Keep in mind, masks will be required for these events and there might be a small wait time to get in to see what is for sale, as they are practicing social distancing.  You can get more information on these and other events at the Cloquet Public Library HERE.
