Bulldogs Hosting National Championship Trophy Event at UMD Stores

The UMD Men's Hockey team will have the 2018 National Championship Trophy at the UMD Stores this Thursday, October 4 for display and pictures.

You can get your picture with the trophy, as well as Champ the Bulldog's mascot, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  The UMD Stores are located at 1120 Kirby Drive on Campus at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

If you stop by, you'll also have the chance to win great prizes and you can check out all the new gear prior to the 2018 home opener on Saturday against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

UMD won the 2018 National Championship last April by defeating Notre Dame in the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Championship game at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  The 2019 National Championship will be held next April at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

The Bulldogs are talented enough to make it back-to-back championships, but they'll have to bring it every weekend as all opponents will be fired up to play the national champions.
